How Lululemon Dominates High End Active Wear

What began as a small Canadian yoga wear company for women, is today a multibillion-dollar activewear brand with 600 stores in the U.S. and Europe, and a diversified portfolio extending into menswear, an at-home fitness program, Mirror, and footwear. Lululemon posted at 29% increase in revenue in the second quarter from a year earlier. But there are some potential concerns ahead. For one, high inflationary times and a looming global recession could threaten the company’s financial outlook. There are also countless smaller brands gaining market share. Some of those include some of the more established brands such as Alo and Athleta in brick-and-mortar. But also e-commerce companies growing from a strong social media following such as Gymshark, Fabletics and Alphalete.

  1. Sadly, so many people think they look good in leggings, tights, "jeggings", etc. This is for EXERCISE ONLY! ( They are only for people WHO exercise). Think it’s funny that Asians get so mad at them 😂

  2. Disappointing that people still support this company. It WAS Canadian but it is Chinese now with the usual very very low wage for their employees. They sold out. The founder was a jerk.

  3. Lulu lemon doesn’t want african americans woman to wear their clothes because they look better than the white women in them.

  4. You are way overpriced and by the way my white pants are now black and i dont mix my colors but that being said none of your products have torn alo is the WORST 😮

  5. The leggings pill so much I want to scream. I wash with non cotton materials and air dry. They still pill. I gave up lol

  6. You deserve to be poor if you buy overpriced athletic clothing like Lululemon and the likes. Einstein was %100 right about the universe and human stupidity 😂🤣 The facial expressions of the Morgan Stanley Managing Director are over the top, like she was discussing the mission to Mars. The whole thing is more absurd than the silliest Monty Python skits. Today’s society is sick beyond repair and most of the BS is coming from North America.

  7. I would bet against lululemon. There are products exactly the same for a fraction of the price.

  8. Ive bought a couple of 5in running shorts from the adidas store on eBay for about $14 when they are on sale. A couple days ago I got some shorts for $9 and change.

  9. I would not call Fabletics “high end”. Cheap quality, but also lower prices. I’d consider them mid range at best

  10. I couldn’t care less about brand popularity. People are fools for buying the most basic and generic deigns just because it’s “premium.” You can’t even tell it’s lululemon unless you flash their tiny logo 🤭And it’s an UGLY logo. Like, what’s it even supposed to be? A horseshoe? 😆 Nah, I’m happy with my tek gear. I’ve had some pairs since 2015, they’re still good 🥰
